TOPIC: Recording and editing software?

Hello guys!

I would love to start getting into YouTube and maybe making some videos but I have no idea what recording and editing software to use. If you know any good ones please let me know!!

Blender for editing

Use Fraps to record, and use Sony Vegas 13 Pro for editing and rendering videos. While people find both of these very expensive, you can get them for free some way or another, but be POSITIVE you only do what you see on a RECENT video, otherwise you'll get a virus or two, with a low chance of actually getting the software. I can show you some videos if you want.

I use Sony Vegas to edit and Shadowplay to record. But you can also record manually with shadowplay, therefore I shadowplay!

I strongly suggest OBS. Just due to it being so much easier to work with and you can change the settings so easily on there. You can record in whatever quality you feel like

Sony Vegas Pro 13 is really good for editing but you need to invest time in how to learn it.
