TOPIC: [CS:GO] Operation Update leaks and confirmed stuff

Of course there's going to be new maps for the operation. But which maps will it be? Valve has personally contacted some map creators, asking them to update their maps for the new operation. The maps mentioned were:
-Cruise
-Santorini
-de_empire
-Coast
-Tulip
-Royal
not 100% sure because its not confirmed by Valve personally. It's very likely though.

There has been a leak a few weeks ago, where someone found a file including a rifle called "TAC-21". This is speculated to be a bolt action sniper rifle. Is this going to be in the new update? I am not sure. This hasn't been confirmed either and I think that this could also be added in an update later this year IF its going to be added at all.

Jess Cliffe aka "Bot Cliffe" (kappa) from valve has talked about Nuke on Reddit. He said that a lot changed in Nuke. The map is no longer located in germany, but in the ""rust belt" of the United States. The Seals (CT) will try to defend the bomb-sites while the Phoenix (T) try to blow shit up. They also want to adress the CT-sidedness and want to make it a more balanced map. We'll see how that goes. This also kind of shows that they are creating hype about the new map, so Nuke is probably going to be part of the update.

Since the last big update came out in early december, and the last operation came out over 4 months ago, people are speculating that the Source 2 engine will be implemented into Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Some Dota 2 update "hyped" the speculation again. I think it's too good to be true, but there is a small chance it will be happening.

My common sense tells me that because they create that hype around nuke and because they contacted the map creators to update their map for the new operation, we will not have to wait that long. My guess is that we should keep an eye open in the next 2 weeks.
