hello zarp, alot of you might know that my life went to shit some time ago because my grandfather had prostate-cancer and my parents are divorcing, i got over that but this saturday my life took a huge turn for the worse.

i was coughing alot so i decided to go to the doctor as i am astmatic, the doctor said that he wanted to take photo's from my lungs and after hearing the outcome i was left in tears, the outcome was: Lung Cancer.
i am scared about it and the doctor gives the chemo a 50/50 chanse of working properly, ill be starting chemo this saturday.

what im most scared about is that i can die from it and as i am only 16 it makes it even worse for me.

i will keep you all up to date on my medical status as soon as i get more good/bad news from the doctor.

I cant really compare these two cases, but I will try.
My grandma got diagnosed with lung cancer around 5 years ago.
The doctor basically gave her 3 months to live, so basically a death sentence.
she started kemo almost immidietly and after a month the doc told her that she even might not live the expected 3 months.
Now here 5 years later she is fresh as ever

So I wouldnt listen to everything a doctor says, and I encourage you to stay positive no matter what.
I will be rooting for you here from DK, and if you ever feel like or need to talk ill be happy to
