Hello all,
So recently I have seen people doing Q&A and posting pictures of themselves so I just wanted to bring it to everyone's attention to be careful with what they post online. A picture of you only needs something simple like a school name for someone to have their first bit of information about you. I'm not saying that we have a bunch of stalkers in the community but I think people forget we're a open forum and anyone in the whole wide web can see this information and just because you're comfortable letting people in the community either your friends, gangs or staff see your face it doesn't mean someone else from somewhere else on the Internet can see it. The same goes for Q&A just be carful what you are answering if it seems a little personal don't answer it or word it in a way that you feel safe.
None of this is to scare anyone it's just to bring it to people's attention.

None of us – of whatever age – is immune from encountering problems online, as a look through this website or the daily news will tell you. Younger people are certainly at a vulnerable stage in their lives … naturally more trusting than adults and hopefully having been less exposed to the darker side of the internet. They are also not as well equipped to deal with such issues – or their consequences. Some of these potential issues are as follows:
Inappropriate contact: from people who may wish to abuse, exploit or bully them. Inappropriate conduct: because of their own and others’ online behaviour, such as the personal information they make public, for example on social networking sites. Unfortunately, children can also become cyberbullies, especially when encouraged by others. Inappropriate content: being able to access or being sexually explicit, racist, violent, extremist or other harmful material, either through choice or in error. Commercialism: being the targets of aggressive advertising and marketing messages. Gaining access to your personal information stored on your computer, mobile device or games console, and passing it on to others … or using your financial details such as payment card information. Enabling viruses and spyware by careless or misinformed use of their or your computer, smartphone, tablet or games console.
Stay safe!! Have Fun, Play Fair!
true and maybe I am a stalker in the community trying to get info about you and come to your house and harm you, you wouldn't know but I am not I am just trying to make an example.
You don't know everyone here in the community irl so you have no idea what we do outside the community, for all you know we all could be bank robbers or murderer's so I agree with red please look at the pic's you post on zarp closely so you don't give out too much info about yourself.
As red said stay safe and have alot of fun
