That i had a talent in writing poetry i laughed so hard when he said that. He got pissed off. I only ever wrote 1 poem and it was for english coursework or some shit like that
I'll post it here but the challenge isn't in that. Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] The Cold Cell Block An eagle feasting on a man Yet torture merely began Bound to the wall and left to die The causes of one single lie Ideas of the crooked one; who claims to be the chosen one Whose beard stretched wide apart Distinguishing his pride His family was sent to hell Where they were doomed to dwell While they awaited his return; immediately they would learn; that they were not in his concern Their souls flew high into the skies Leaving behind their vile cries He only wanted to escape He shouted with his mouth agape; resembling to a raging ape Frozen in his own imagination Enhancing his desperate starvation Transformed into nothing but frustration Caught in perpetual deprivation When fellow inmates lay in beds Insomnia begins to spread The mind takes over from here on Bringing down the fearsome and strong Even imagination can be suppressed in captivation Which leaves no time for adaptation To the cruel machinations Which for him are fascinations All you can do now is to dance on the cold cell-block Eventually your heart will stop and you will die of shock The challenge is in analysing it. Whoever gives me the closest the description/analysis to what I am referring to: I will give you a cookie and 10 euros on steam. Cheerios. |

I thought it has potential, maybe when you transition stanzas you could try to not change the point you're trying to convey so drastically. Other than that not bad.
