No. No it's not. If you're talking about the manga, I can agree, but the anime adaptation was a complete mess. Trust me, the moment you read the manga you'll forget the anime every existed. Tokyo Ghoul's second season wasn't much better either.

Personally, I absolutely despise Highschool of the Dead. The girls are there just for fanservice, and they have barely any personality. Same goes for the males. Also dem boob physics.

But then again, that's just me somewhat of an elitist who has seen a bunch of shows, both good and bad. Once you've seen what anime is capable of doing, you'll stop liking pointless ecchi anime that go nowhere with their plot like HOTD.

Well to be fair people shouldn't assume a good anime is simply something with decent animation and a bit of action every now and then. We call them casuals, by the way. I don't know why people overhype those anime when there are some genuinely good action anime, like for example Noragami.
