1 Year Ago Today... 8 years 7 months ago #198039

Pre Polling day1 Year Ago was a defining moment in the history of scotland the independence referendum in which we voted no to my dismay going into that day the polls all pointed at a yes victory and project fear went into overdrive promising powers in the event of a no vote (still waiting) mainwhile the yes campaign groups such as RIC(Radical Independence Campaign) Hope Over Fear and The Yes Campaign had their rallys which focused on the hope of a better scotland not 1 riddled with poverty under tory rule early the Polling Daynext morning the results began to be announced in all scottish council areas but sadly 28 of 32 council areas voted no but the 4 that were yes were Dundee, Glasgow, North Lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire

The Aftermath
After the referendum membersship of the scottish national party grew at rapid rates to become one of the largest partys in terms of members
which in the 2015 general election led to 56 out of 59 of scottish seats being claimed by the snp.
Conclusion
another referendum will come and when it does the result will be a resounding yes

1 Year ago, the Scottish people made an amazing choice to stay apart of the United Kingdom, and then this May, the UK voted overwhelmingly to carry on with the Conservative plan:

Btw, I just love how you say:

"The Scots made a great decision one year ago today to stay a part of the UK

Now here is why Conservatism is awesome..."

So your response to my facts on how the government has created the fastest growing economy, turned around people's lives by creating thousands of full time jobs every day and halved the countries deficit in their first term is a meme?

Seriously, there's a reason why the majority of people voted for them, because if you take a moment to look at the facts, they're doing a pretty fine job.

Hope you'll reconsider your position.
