They can ddos you by even you connecting to the internet, they knowing your name would not help. You do realize there's a high risk of being ddosed just by logging into Steam,Teamspeak,skype,facebook etc right? It's way to easy to find your IP trough the internet and if they really wanned to know your name they would just DOX you anyway so whats the problem?
