For having using a bunch of them, I can give you what I think of some of them

Fraps : Reallly the worst of all I've tried, use a lot of performance and have wayyyy too big files in the end
Camtasia : That's... just no, I woud say a bit better than Fraps
OBS : This is actually really cool to stream, but isn't really optimised for recording itself.
Mirilis Action : Quite good actually, but I had a problem, the file was way to big, and the mp4 was really bad, the size of the file is not a problem itself, this is more the problem that for me, in Vegas, the prerender was lagging with this size.
Bandicam : Actually quite good and quite light, easy too use and have enough option, it's actually quite cool.
Shadowplay : If you have an NVIDIA at least 660 if I don't mistake, just take this, this is soo good
-files for 1080p 60fps is like 20 GO for 2 hours
-the quality is really good.
-It don't lower your performance for more than 2 - 3 fps, really cool for people that don't have an extremely powerful config.

But in the end, that's just what I think, do your idea before if you think I was wrong on one.

You forgot that ShadowPlay has this cool feature that records up to 20 min ago. Meaning if you were just RDMed, you can just click the button for that feature and you have your proof right there, no FPS drops and no need to record your whole game session..

OBS (Low performance impact and low file sizes. Great for constantly recording)
