In all fairness, I thought anime was stupid, childish and pornographic when I first found out about it, mainly because one of my old friends sent me an episode of a rather over-sexualised anime, not quite hentai but it was on the borderline of it. That's not to say I personally enjoy anime, but I completely respect those who do enjoy it. As the guy in the video said "Most people who hate anime have closed minded reasons", I'd like to think I'm not exactly subject to this "fact" and I personally dislike it due to:

1) Some anime is either not in english at all, or is subtitled in it which in all honesty I'd rather watch a show and understand it rather than staring at text most of the time.

2) Some anime is poorly dubbed in English, these are poorly dubbed usually by incorrect English. Sure you can use the argument "It's still understandable" or "It's a really good Anime, just deal with it", but being my lazy self, I'd rather not take the time to try and understand what they have said.

3) I just don't really enjoy the art style personally, it's something which is relatively difficult to explain, but it's just a "strange" opinion.

4) I fucking despise anything that people push onto me. This doesn't just go for Anime, if someone has repeatedly said "Watch this" or "Play that" to me and virtually forces me to watch it because I don't want to be rude, I either won't watch it, or will avoid watching more of it.

5) There's so much I'm currently doing right now, whether it be Series or Movies I'm currently engaged in, or games I'm engaged in. I'm not normally in that sweet spot where I'm just happy with everything I'm currently doing, so I like to preserve it as long as I can, when people try and force me to watch anything and I feel compelled out of politeness to watch it, it fucks it up and I become sad :<.

Side Note: Yes, I have watched anime before. Friends have tried to make me watch things like SAO or Attack on Titan, I eventually fell in to when they tried to make me watch DragonballZ, in which I watched an episode of it, and quite frankly didn't enjoy it. Yes I am fully aware of other "genres" or what you wish to call them, but I'm just not in the mood to do much else out of my comfort zone.

There are some anime that have a pretty good English dub, but yeah, most of them are shit. A couple of anime with a good English dub that I know off are Durarara!! Same here. People keep telling me to watch certain Anime series when all they do is view it subjectively. As someone who makes Top Anime Lists on Youtube, I tend to look at Anime in a more reviewing way, instead of blindly liking everything.
