TOPIC: AAA Titles vs Indie titles

I was thinking about this recently, I've payed far more for many AAA games that I would for indie titles, yet I enjoy indie titles a lot more.

Gmod for example, it cost me £1.5, I have over 2,000 hours, whereas in CoD AW I have about 10.

If you think about it, if you create a set scale (AER like,) of Time spent / Money spent, you can compare between any game

So for gmod, it would be about 1,333 hours per pound spent.

My most played Steam games are all Valve-published games. praise GabeN

I like both, but I only buy AAA titles when they're on sale. My pc can't run the newer AAA titles anyways, and I'm fine with that. Indie games masterrace!

Even tho Garry's mod is not really a ''game'' its more of a mod.. but i still look at it as a game, and its still my favorite.. also for an example take a look at No Man's Sky.. its a indie game beating up lots of triple A games, a small team of 4+ people could have even better ideas and imagination than big companies..

In my opinion its not that much Indie dev's being superior to the triple A dev's.
The difference is with Indie dev's you don't have a publisher telling you what to do and how to do it which gets rid of a lot of shoehorned in stuff that nobody cares about.
One of the actual publishers that works with Indie game dev's and does it well is Devolver Digital and I love most of their games.
My top played games happen to be Valve games which are basically triple A quality.

Before I got into steam I pretty much bought 1-2 games in my entire life and pirated hundreds.
Now i have around 295 in my Steam library... PRAISE GABEN
