TOPIC: Garry's Mod Keeps Crashing.

Whenever I start up Gmod, it just says "hl2.exe has stopped working" and it exits out.
Anyone know how to fix, other than re-installing? Because I'm working on that now and I'm just wondering if there is another way.

I mean, you can backup all your data, dupes etc.

My gmod has crashed like that a couple times too, but it seems to fix itself.
My biggest problem is when om joining the DR servers it stops on 'sending client Info' and crashes to desktop.

I can't even access the main screen. It goes to the FacePunch logo then crashes. Re-Installed it, Verified Game Cache, I have tried all of that, still isn't working.

I can confirm this has worked for me in the past, I've had so many addons and Garry's Mod crashes all the time when I have too many mods.

Especially things like sound mods and things that can alter your online experience, I'd watch out for those as they would most likely cause crashes.

I'm going to install it on my HDD instead of my SSD and see if it works.
