TOPIC: Is Alluh Akbar Racist ?

Alright, First of all I have spoken to alot of people who say Alluh Akbar is racist and people who was Alluh Akbar isnt racist. An example of this is Clocket says Alluh Akbar isnt racist as it is just saying God is greater in Arabic. However Rayman says it is racist being as it is a word that can only be used by mulims. I personally agree with Clocket as saying the word in english isnt classed as racist and also how is " God is greater " A race ??

I'd just like to discuss and finally stop the argument about whether it is or isn't racist

The term changes over time; it's classed as racism because it's used during terrorism activity.

Look at the swastika, it was once a symbol for luck if I recall and is still used today in India but the Nazis stole it and now it's classed as a evil symbol.

First of all it isnt Alluh Akbar its actually Allah-u Akbar and Allah is the one of the God's names for us (Muslims) so please change "Alluh" parts in the post.

Sayins "Allahu Akbar" isn't racist as it is because it justs means "God is great".
The only thing is that, most of the time, non-muslim people use it as a joke referring to islamist terrorism and by this including that being muslim/saying "Allahu Akbar" is being terrorist. Which isn't the case of course.

I know also that it is used as a joke, I used to make it even tho I'm awared of muslims not being racist and I'm far from being anti-muslim but yeah, try not to use it. It's not really racist, it's offensive.

If you're asking about muslims saying "Allahu Akbar" then I don't really see the problem nor how it could be racist as saying that God is Great has nothing to do with others. It's just weird if people shout it randomly.

Use common sense. Does it bother anyone at the moment you use it? No? Use it if you want.. it isn't forbidden. Yes? Show respect and don't use it.

If you're not Muslim, there's no reason for you to use it really. Even if you're trying to show respect to the Islam religion.

I guess it's not bad in the sence of saying it randomly, but if you use it in the situation of you committing acts connotated with terrorism, then it's going to be offensive because it's quite obvious you're using it as an Islamic Extremist would use it, for the wrong purposes.

Me I dont think its racist but still i think its against muslims to use that word and then make an explosion sound or something like that is begin BAD what so ever i think its alright to say it

It's racist because usually after hearing "allahu akbar" some muslim explodes the shit out of you, so when you're saying that it's just like laughing about the terrorist muslims.

Using Allahu Akbar and giving it a bad connotation is what's wrong. Allahu Akbar itself isn't wrong while the Swatiska is (because yeah, a swatiska has reversed the former symbol which has nothing to do with Nazism).

What is wrong is giving "Allahu Akbar" a bad connotation, that's it.

I remember an admin banned someone perm for saying Allah-u Akbar.On SSRP.

Its context. On TTT we advise people not to say it as some may find it offensive but if then combined with the jihad (Suicide Bomb) and the user yells it then its a ban for racism.

Well , tbh only muslims can judge if its racist or not i think if you are not muslim and someone harrass islam you probably won't care , im muslim and saying allahu akbar is not racist for me , but changing or modifing it will make it racist and cost lots of problems , like someone changing his name to ALLAHU SWAGBAR or whatever i made an f1 about it and the admin said i'll make him change his name , and fortunately he did make him change his name .
TL;DR : if you are mature saying it , it shoud never be racist

Point of the post, its not racist as it isn't directed to a race unlike the Nword or Pword

People simply use it as a joke and other find it offensive.
