So i just learnt how to use the demo system of recording but i dont know this thing how to save your demo and play it so i recently stoped my semo and it said saved then i went into garysmod then demos and it wasnt there is was just full of perpheads demos do any of you know ow to save the demo and play it so i can see it.

You can use OBS to record. The compression of the video files are nice, so 30 minutes of video = 1GB for me.

If you just want to record your gameplay in case there is like a server crash or someone rdms, absues all that kind of stuff, I would advice you to jsut use bandicam. It's easy and records on fairly decent quality aswell.

I do have it I just don't know how to record

If you have a graphics card with Nvidia you could use shadow play or if you have AMD you could use Rapture
They are perfect because they don't take any fps away from your game play
