TOPIC: I need your potential CS;GO knowledge.

I need your potential CS;GO knowledge. 9 years 2 weeks ago #129925

The title has been typed before the paragraph and has already told you what I need.

I've recently looked over this CS;GO lounge betting and how all of you are addicted; Now, it's time for me to make some profit too.

Charlie has shown me how to bet, but I don't have knowledge on any of the teams except that dreamhack (Whatever it was) final between NiP and LCLD.

Can someone give me information on VP & NiP and who are you betting for.
VP is apparently inconsistent as said by Roel.

Virtous is currently playing very inconsisent, i'm going with NiP this game.

Still though, VP has the strenght to beat them if they can forget their recent performances.

Analyse both teams before you place your bet. Most of the time the win percentage on CS:GO lounge mean nothing, except for 80% or higher VS 20% or lower games.

Check out each player of both teams, you can find these on reddit most of the time: www.reddit.com/r/csgobetting/
On there, nearly every game is posted and people share their opinion on both teams.
On each post there should be a little board about each player's stats.
There are a ton of people who analyse matches, look for them in the posts. They should give you some betting advise.

For example, a couple months ago there was a game going on between two random teams i've never even heard of. Turns out that one of the two random teams were planning to throw their game, and lounge didn't know of this. Turns out they indeed threw their game. Lucky me didn't place a bet. Instead i placed a bet on the 10% win percentage team with all my skins, and got about 100 euro back, because i knew they were going to win.

For the next NIP vs VP game:

Though, for this match it's hard to say. Both teams are nearly equal.
However, it is a B01. Anything can happen.
Personally I placed a small bet on VP.
Getting an 80 cents return if they win.

Hope I gave you a better insight on how betting works!

Are you a God? You must have heard my calling for help.
Thanks for the information and I'll be sure to check out the reddit and what not.

You can't compare a FPS game to a MOBA game.

You do realize in 90% of all matches previous stats has nothing to say

So, VP vs. CPlay
VP = 91%
CPlay = 9%

VP won

No overdog/underdog rule there, buddy.

I just came here to ask this.

What's so special about skins and knives that makes them cost so much?

Bilbo Swaggins wrote:

Well.. no, not really maybe a bit. previous stats do have a big say in who has a bigger chance of winning. For example, if Fnatic plays Inferno, (Which is their best map) how they perform on that map in previous matches does have a big say in whether they will win a match on that map. That is, if both teams are fairly equal. (47% vs 58% for ex.) A team can be a lot more confident on one map than other maps.

However, some games previous stats have nothing to say, but I just wouldn't call it 90%.

Harridas wrote:

Nothing. A skin does not increase a weapon in any way.
They just make the weapons look nice, the reason why they are so expensive? Some skins just look really nice, and some are just really rare.
This counts for knives too. Knives are pretty rare, and they look nice.
