I'll start off saying sorry for the inconvenience. There is already a system for this. Once you re-join the server it will at you have a refund pending, if you are in public do NOT refund it, it will go everywhere..

If this does not show up for you it is a crash on your part. This ranges from a wide of things that can happen to just disconnect YOU and no-one else (Ex. DDOS, somone resetting your router , your computer disconnecting from Internet Etc. )
