Life is more important than video games bud. Video games are simply an escape. Some peoples escape is doing drugs and alcohol and yours is playing video games which is, granted, somewhat better than the alternative however it is still just an escape nonetheless. i have a weird system , don't think that you have it too , whenever i play video games it helps my brain work more , i have realised that after playing zarp my grades got higher by 0.2% , which was a surprise for me since i thought my grades would go from 92% to 85-ish% , but i was surprised , What your father is doing is caring about your future , don't think that just because he took away your laptop is because he doesn't care about you or hates you , its because he wants to be proud of you in the future , to see you having a good job , to be one of the best , that's a fathers dream , seeing his son having the highest job , the highest paycheck , and for you to be important , you will understand this when you get older and older , then you will understand why he really did it
