Ay.
So, you may - or may not know, but you probably do know, that I adore tanks.
Now, you probably might not know, that I don't really like Anime, but an anime called "Girls und Panzer" was an anime I found, mainly centered around tanks, and that is the only anime I ever finished.
I also know most tank facts and most historical tanks.
By now, you might think I just really love tanks, and I do, I also love a certain game called "World of Tanks" - shocking, right?
World of Tanks. Let's talk about it before I start talking about my clan, since I don't really know a lot of people that play World of Tanks.
Basic Info:
World of Tanks is a free to play online game that can be downloaded from:
www.worldoftanks.eu or
www.worldoftanks.com
It's made by Belorussian company, Wargaming.net , makers of World of Warplanes, and the upcoming World of Warships.
World of Tanks however, was their oldest and best game up to date. It has over 50,000,000+ players worldwide, with an outstanding microtransaction profit that even exceeds that of World of Warcraft, with 372,000,000$ , and a revenue of about 271,000,000$.
It's currently in Patch 9.6, and by that note, you know that it runs on updates. Like Walrus' fav MMO game, Path of Exile. (lol wally <3 )
Gameplay:
This game's gameplay is highly based on Action and Strategy. You see, in World of Tanks, you have 5 types of Vehicles to choose: Light Tanks, Medium Tanks, Heavy Tanks, Tank Destroyers, and SPG's (Self Propelled Guns).
Light Tanks are fast, lightly armored, with decent guns.
Medium Tanks are balanced all around.
Heavy Tanks are heavily armored, slow moving tanks, with big guns.
Tank Destroyers are sneaky tanks with giant guns that can demolish tanks with a single shot.
And Self Propelled Guns are basically the artillery of World of Tanks, you can chose a spot on the map, and then just fire away at the targets your teammates have spotted.
However, there are also 7 nations to chose from, which only 2 (China and Japan), don't have Tank Destroyers and Self Propelled Guns, those nations are:
The USSR
The UK
The US
France
China
Japan.
All nations have differences, for example - the French tanks have really low armor, but are very fast and have great guns. The soviets have heavily armored beasts with giant guns (Like the KV-2 ^_^ )
You can choose to play with a lot of nations, though beginners shouldn't, because of garage space. Garage space says how much tanks you can own, and beginners need to pay gold (Basically the currency you get with real money) for more garage space.
After battles, you get Experience, and credits. This is very important, because new tanks need to be researched with experience, and then you can buy them with the credits. The worse tanks don't need a lot of experience and credits, while the better ones need a lot, and the Premium Tanks need gold to be bought.
The game has tiers of tanks, from tier I to tier X. And all of these have so called "branches" of tanks, like a branch of tank destroyers for researching, a certain Heavy Tank line, etc.
The battles need a lot of strategy, because of a lot of different factors - like Ammo Racks, Engine Fires, Module Damage, Wounded Crew, and most important: SLOPING! (Well imo)
You'll learn a lot about these things in game, because there is a lot to explain about those factors.
My most loved fact about World of Tanks is the giant amount of detail Wargaming.net put into all the tanks in the game, so it's realistic.
Now on to the pictures, after that is my clan info.

Clan Info:
My clan is currently the: "5th Serbian Battalion "Orlovi", you can find it
here, and you can contact me on steam if you want to
here. We currently accept all people who can speak English, and Serbian. Currently, we have 3 members, and are looking to expand our clan. Our tanks range from V to VIII tier, and 2 of us play with IX and X tier tanks. However, we accept all tank drivers, all people with a tier III tank can join, and if you have a lower one, I'll train you in-game, until you get to tier III.
Remember, if you want to join, please don't be a douchebag.
And a fun fact - in the clan, my uncle plays, and he loves World of Tanks, family genes, eh?
Alright ZARP'ers, see ya soon, and if you want to join the clan, see you on the battlefield.
EDIT: Please, if you want to join, make a post about it on this post, because it can be more enjoyable for your friend to play with you, because they might see you joined, and they'll join as well. Also because that is easier for me to keep track of how many people we got.
