So went on steam had 3 new friend invites, so i looked and added them but when i added them i still couldnt see their profile like wtf?

Phishing bots.

Most commonly would be [unassigned].
Their profile will always be set to private.

What are Phishing bots?

If you posted a trade or something on CSGOlounge or another lounge, they usually find your profile from there.

Tip: Don't accept Friends that are lvl 0 or 1. You can accept lvl 1 accounts but be cautious with them.
2: Don't click on any links from these accounts, and if they make a comment on your account, delete it, and block them.

Basicly tries to steal stuff from your steam account.

Wow. You actually never thought that 70 people called "[unassigned]" frequently sending friend requests to you was suspicious. wot?

Add them.

They send you a screenshot link.

You remove them. Simple as that.

I know a couple always look if steamcommunity.com is written right. Aka if they send: steamcomnmunity.com its basicly a phising website. With some fake account with fake +rep with fake level and fake hours.

I also never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever to do the middleman bullshit. Offering you 200 euros for some 40 euro knife = scam. Huehuehuehueh i know people who got scammed. They usually get refunded no guarantees
