TOPIC: Half Life 3: Unannounced

Just browsing youtube and I see this video and it bugs me that HL3 hasn't even been announced yet. Anyway this video is a really nice short film.

I really can't be bothered with HL3.
Would take L4D3 over HL3 all day.

I would like to have HL3, but I don't really think Valve is planning to release more in the near future. I just think Valve is putting most of their workforce on Steam and not on developing any new games. Despite all the petitions and all the other 'hl3 confirmed', nothing happened. I'd just like to see just an announcement THAT they are working on it. I don't care about a release date. I don't care if it's released within a year or ten years. I just want HL3 to be finished just sometime. Others might want it soon, but I don't care. I need to finish HL2 E1+E2 first. Even though HL2 was released ages ago, it's still enjoyable with mods like Synergy that let you play in Co-op.

Synergy makes it extra fun in my opinion. We played through the entirety of Half-Life 2 and never did it become boring because you have a companion you can have fun with at any time (Skype makes it even better). Of course it did become frustrating at time and the mod is not 100% bug free... (omg that water boat level just ruined everything)
