Introduction
Hello there,
As a sword enthusiast/collector, I really do love a good looking knife. It's funny to see how CSGO has knives which cost more than which a real one would. I really do love some of the knives on the game and would love to own a few and it got me thinking, hence this thread.
What is this thread?
I am going to be dedicating some of my time into creating CSGO knifes in real life, I plan to be creating these knives in ways which may inspire some of you guys out there.
(As long as you are 18+ or whatever the age is required to buy a knife in your country)
Will you be giving step by step instructions?
I will not be giving any detailed instructions as I would like to avoid other people attempting the methods seen in this thread, I do not want to hear about a ZARP member cutting off their foot. If you really have any questions on the process and you agree to the disclaimer found at the top of the thread. You may ask me on teamspeak etc. however any advice given is strictly theoretical.
Ermahgawd can you make a Karambit Fade/Doppler/MarbleFade? (The list is endless)
Calm down. Karambit's are hard to come by in a raw state, most of them are sold in a "finished" state and therefore, that makes it incredibly hard for me to work with. I don't want to buy a black oxidized Karambit and have to attempt to remove it before I can get to work. I'll look into them more as time goes on.
Are you forging the knives yourself?
I'm afraid not. Nowadays when creating knifes, swords etc. (especially if you're trying to make a replica) you cannot get the same finish as you could from a shop brought knife. Therefore, I will obtain knives and work on them from there, saving me time.
Are you selling these knives?
No.
No.
Double No.
I'll cut your face off if you even ask me no. I'm not doing this for money, I'm for sure not the guy going to be arrested for selling a knife to a minor and I'm not being that guy who reforged a knife which then killed a young boy. Please take into consideration that i'm covering myself.

Case Hardened
*NEW*
This is the first knife I have uploaded to this thread and I'm so glad I can finally upload it and tick this off the list. Case hardening is a progress very similar to bluing in which you harden the steel creating a "case" (The cosmetically part which is also pretty practical). There are many ways to go about case hardening/bluing however, because I had the supplies, it seemed than using heat and oil would be my best bet. I've taken a few photos of the progress from start to finish however due to the nature of this progress, it would have been hard to get the steel to a cherry red, whilst trying to take photos etc. I will not be explaining this progress any more as this is one of the more dangerous skins to attempt.
The starting knife we based ourself upon;
After the first quench in oil (It's in there bubbling away);
A clean up around three cycles through the process;
A finished case-hardened Gut Knife blade;
At this point I decided that I had created the knife too blue, and I did not like it. I decided it would be best, before the case had hardened completely, too rework and take a step backwards using paint thinners in order to degrease and eventually erode the coat I had created before it had completely forged. I wanted it to be almost like a "Battle-Scarred" knife.
Our final case-hardened Gut Knife;
Huntsman Knife

Suggestions
You may suggest knifes to be created however I have limited resources available to me, so please bare in mind if I do not take your suggestion does not mean I dislike it. It just may not be the easiest option for me at the time.
Knife Name;
Skin Name;
Do you know how you create the effect (i.e paint);
Why this knife in particular (Please provide more of a reason that because "it's cool");
