TOPIC: Zarps changing

So recently I stumbled over the old Zarp TV channel and realized that I miss the old zarp and it's changed so much. Maybe a bit of nostalgia is to blame, but I liked it back when it was simpler, less serious, and just more fun. We had our silly hats. a small cozy map that felt massive.

I really miss it. I can see how some things are better changed, but it's just amazing. I also miss the oldies (Lou, Xhantium, Chris, Optec, etc). They may have left us but still, I looked up to them. Now I feel like I'm at the top, it's kinda scary.

EDIT: I'm planning on using all my might to bring zarp down a bit closer to the semi-serious RP stuff. I mean yeah it's cool atm, but we can always combine them. I miss my headcrab hat. I miss my golfcart, there's a lot I miss.

I shall now remove my rose-tinted glasses.

i know how it feels , I've been here for 10 months ( more or less ) and I've met and said goodbye to a lot of great staff members , one of my fav was xhantium , even though he stalked and harassed , he was a good guy , he helped me through when my grandmother died .

I do really like the golf carts beacuse it was easy to drive and less CDM.

There isn't really a thing you can change with words when it comes to old people but what you can do is always to make it better yourself, you are a super admin now. You are supposed to be the hero for some people

It changed back when Explosives were added and basing was rendered useless... No more huge outdoor bases with many places to defend from with friends, or some really crazy hats. I miss townsend and I miss how the DarkRP server was back then. Too bad we aren't going to see those nice things again anytime soon

I miss bane

I miss me and lexigon's hat get up, the cone with the frog underneath, looked dope. I also miss when people didn't have grudges on you and everyone liked each other. Honestly it hasn't been the same since the move to townsen the map for DarkRP. ZARP as a whole changed, some for the good but people started becoming power hungry and trying to manipulate others to believe the right thing.

Best moments I had in SSRP were the townsend times. Oh well, good bye townsend. Was like a year and a month ago. After map changed, I started to get bored.

This is one of the reasons why I just faded away. Everything was changing all too fast for my liking.

Yeah guys I really miss the corrupt admins who ruined shit for everyone. And I also really miss the map that I really hated and crashed my game every 5 minutes. I also miss those super great stock point shop items that don't fit onto any player model.
