Getting ddosed, 2nd time of making this, keeping it short -.-
Some idiots tried to rulebreak and kept raiding earlier, claimed we broke nlr and then said he was uploading the vid ,(screenshotted somewhere), afterwhich he sent me a link "of the vid" which was a site stealing my ip-.-
he then used the ip to ddos me

Take this as a lesson. Don't trust any links people send to you. Unless you're 101% sure that the link is valid. If people want to show screenshots, tell them to make it public and then view their screenshot page.

I realised once I saw it, clicked it before hand however -.-. But he was a pretty bad ddoser, laster all of 1 hr when I was afk xD!

That guy was pretty bad DDOS'er, DDOS'ing players result in shutdown your wifi/router, etc... unless you have a good connection and he was pretty noob.

Not even some links in the forums i trust, why trust from random ppl.

P.S: I have been spammed alot on my Steam profile about trades with links used to steal accounts.

Well that seems rather unfortunate -_-.

I recommend that everyone checks their links before going onto them. Check the domain properly and make sure you ain't clicking on .hax or some other dodgy looking sites. Also please read the actual link. So many people use well known websites with a single letter missing or replaced that actually leads to an ip grabber. If you are going to click on links from unknown people then make sure you read the link carefully. If you are still unsure then please google the link and see what people are saying about it incase it is an ip grabber.

If you managed to get a video showing the players steam id and showing that it was him sending you that link then it would help. I dunno if anything can be done about this since that is not included. Wait til a DarkRP staff member deals with this.

I indeed do have a screenshot showing him sending me a shortened link, which led to the actual ip stealer, and him saying "like how I shortened it" etc

Scottie, do you have a screenshot of the link to "the video"? That would be great, as it is hard to just see if he was bluffing, and you having internet troubles, which could be a coincidence.
