Not sure if a troll, but:
Amd Radeon r9 280x has about 5x better 3D vantage score than 750ti.

Amd Radeon r9 280x has more onboard memory, and runs at slightly higher memory clock speed

Amd Radeon has TWICE more render output processors

Amd Radeon r9 280x runs crysis 3 with 2x better fps(~40) than 750ti (20) on 1080p ultra

The Amd one can nearly outrun even the gtx 770, which costs about 400+ € :p so no, 750ti isn't even worth comparing to 280x

You can get a copy of windows 7 home premium 64bit for about 100€, I have it and trust me, it has all the features you need. RAM limit of 16gb, which is the most you will ever need. (8Gb more than enough)

Right I have it. Windows 8 is the same price as Windows 7 on this site at £73. I will add a SSD in January and also another 4GB RAM. I put in a better case and a better GPU and fixed some stuff

To be honest I think this is final.

You can go for a bigger case (im using: Zalman Z11 plus high tower).

Since you're on a rather small budget for a (what i think) should be gaming PC, you can better go for a AMD CPU, bit slower but you won't notice it much. Also the AMD i've chosen has a rather powerfull stock fan that cools more than enough (mine with battlefield 4 on ultra ~45 - 50 degrees).

Also, why are you going to buy windows OS?
check thepiratebay for a nice ISO file, and use the microsoft USB tool to make one of your USB's a bootable installation stick. And to add to this all, try setting up a LAN cable to your pc, so you can cut down on the cost of buying a wireless network card or stick, since the LAN port is build into your motherboard, just need the drivers for it.

Get a cheaper motherboard you dont need a Z97 one if you won't do any overclocking, with that money you could get something else. Also its proven that 2113 mhz ram is worse than a lower frequency one.

Windows 8.1 is a good choice because the Graphics drivers for AMD's (i.e. AMD Catalyst) development for Windows 7 was stopped, I have the same build except I have the 2x280x Crossfire and my gaming performance was better on Windows 8.1.

This is a pretty beastly build and it will handle all the games on High/Ultra, although every one is recommending getting a ssd for faster boot times and stuff, I would rather spend that money on improving the build. In my opinion SSDs are not really needed for a 'gaming' PC.

Also, go for a 750W+ GPU if you don't want to upgrade your GPU and get another one and crossfire it.
Remember, an okayish cpu is good but never go for low range gpus.

I just noticed that I accidentally typed in 750 ti :p

I meant to say 760 ti, it's like 30$ cheaper. According to benchmarks gtx 760 and r9 280 (Tigz has this on his list, not 280x) are equivalent, so Gtx 760 Ti is most definitely better

If you can get the 970 it's definitely the better choice :) Make sure the motherboard supports Pcie 3 (x16)

Build looks good, but I wouldn't personally get Windows 8, mainly because of safety, also an SSD might be a good idea :) .

Lol dcx I think you understood me wrong, what I meant is stranded cooling for the go. Since water cooling is expensive, complex to put together, if something goes wrong water cooling might ruin your hardware, some people experienced blown up computers because of it after some research. But after all I recommend stranded cooling since it doesn't have a lot of risks like the water cool and especially if you're aiming to purchase a expensive computer.

Tigz, get the basic parts for your computer now, then get the later can buy parts. Such as mousepads ssd's etc.

I know crossfire is bad on some games, you can disable it for some.
