TOPIC: Thinking of making a HL2 RP server

So I really like the idea of HL2 RP but I think it's let down by the fact that it requires the use of dice and chance.

I'm may be making my own HL2 RP server without the random chance, just using skill.

I'll need some help from people who know about the gamemode as I just literally started it and gave up due to this.
It has potential.

Then it would be a choice between ZARP staff & your own HL2 server, as ZARP servers have to be ZARP owned.

and FP already has one, why not go help out there?

Soxey I used to play HL2RP on another server quite abit before DarkRP, so if you do need any help or advice with rules and what to include just feel free to ask I don't mind giving you some help.
However I strongly agree with Chris and would advice maybe helping out on the FP server as HL2 RP can get very complicated especially with all the different classes etc.

I was a JUDGE DvL, get on my level. Anyways, just go onto FP's server. I'd rather not leave ZARP's staff team just for your own server.

P.S Good luck buying a gamemode.

FP's HL2RP server is always looking for people, right now its kinda dead due to a lot of staff leaving. But the few staff left are looking to restore the player count.

PTL is horrible in my option because it most of the time only allows for one sided role playing. Because anytime you try to do anything ageist a Combine unit you will lose.

Games can acuratly depict real life challenges. Trying to sneak away when they aren't looking, drawing your weapon quicker etc.
Sure you may loose more to the combine but that's the point. Combine are fucking OP.

I hate the fact that your thinking about making your own server, when you have duties that you volunteered to do.

I think its a good idea but HL2RP is kinda boring.Since you cannot become anything else then a citizen without having to do some stuff that takes you a lot of time.

Hence why I will not be creating this server as Chris has informed me it is not allowed. I understand this and may one day make my own game mode and make it the best.
