TOPIC: Dear all deathrun players...

Hello all, today i have gotten to the stage where it is very annoying being called 'Joseph'. i would like it to stop please and anyone who calls me joseph again will be given 1 verbal then gaged/muted because i am now very affected by it. People who say my real name is joseph are very wrong on my birth certificate it says my name is 'Joe' . So please stop now.

Tbh You are the person who started telling everyone your irl name. I haven't seen what has happended on the servers but for someone calling you just a name, muting/gagging would just be abuse....

a lot has gone on since then tom... at first it was a laugh and joke , but today i told these 2 people to stop calling me it about 20 times and they stiff dont stop :/ i find it offensive its been going on way to long now.

You are there for a reason. Making sure everything goes how its meant to go, making players have fun. But if you are getting mad over a simple name. Well IDK that seems weird to me.

i have a big problem with being called joseph tom...... i find it offensive i Hate the name....i think i should be called what ever i want as long as it is an acceptable name.. and the name joe is a very acceptable name.

The only reason he has made this topic is because he doesn't want people to call him Joseph anymore, it's not even his real name. As easy as it is.

I think this is a real problem on DR I'm sorry that is happening to you. All I can think of is that you speak to some of the Super Admins on there and ask them to stop calling you joe and tell them that your real name is Joseph.

You can't use your staff powers against someone who is calling you Joseph.

...people are more likely then to, out of arrogance, continue this act as you have displayed by use of authority that you resent this action. That's why the Lead Teams and Community Team are more suited to this sort of issue as they can bring a resolution concisely without messy, unjust punishments which are more likely to provoke further disruption.

You've done the right thing by requesting people to desist this, and it is their choice to do so. If you have issues with individuals - hit me up, I'll be happy to see if they will stop in the interest of morale, however you are not entitled to warn someone for doing this - as such, players who are impertinent, rude or aggressive to the staff team (unless in violation of the TOU, or causing disruption or interference with a situation) can not have action taken against them.
