TOPIC: Chris Smith's Apology

Before I begin, I would like to tell you what this thread is about, so I decided to make an apology thread since saying sorry wasn't enough, but before I apologize, I would like to explain what happened, for some of you might not be aware of my recent incident with my power, I've been reported by i7Moody if you wanted to know.




So it was just another normal day of playing DarkRP, but the only difference is that this day, I didn't use my mind. To start off, I was raiding a base. I equipped my milkor and ran into the base and blew it up. After that, I noticed that I was about to die from the gunshots that were fired at me. Here is when I messed up big time, like I said above, I was about to die so out of complete stupidity, I godded myself, which I had to agree was the worst “solution”, I could have thought of and killed the defender. After that, the victim typed in OOC:“A admin has killed me” I replied correcting his sentence, “Rekt by admin*”.. Now I’m not sure why, but for some strange reason, Moody, one my “friends” was spectating me, and reported it to Dcx and Xhanitum. Well that’s it for the story I guess.



First and foremost, I’d like to apologize to the victims of the story above, I’m really sorry to the victims for the unfairness and bad that I've done, for at that time I didn't mean to ruin your Dark RP experience, but to save mine.
Now I think the Lead Team Members along with all the other staff that voted “yes” on my admin application at that time, deserve an apology from me for I have let them down, but since I don’t really know who voted at that time, I’ll just apologize to the most concerned members of the Lead Team.

Dcx: You have always been, in my opinion, the best Community Manager, for you try to see the good side of people before their bad side. I’m really sorry for letting you down, you’ve helped me in many mistakes that I’ve done over my time on ZARP, I hope I don’t let you down again.

Tigzter: Prime SuperAdmin, great friend, you are one of the reasons I like ZARP so much, you’ve always encouraged me to do my best and to not give up, you helped me get promoted to admin, but I failed you. I want to apologize to you the most. I’m truly sorry for the bad that I’ve caused and with all being well, I wish to never happen again.

Xhantium: I think that you were the most affected Lead Team Member, I’m not sure why, but you deserve a detailed apology from me. I’m really sorry for being a “d*ck” to the victim of this incident, for I did not intend to do that, I also know I shouldn't be giving excuses because I’m in no place to be doing so. So from the bottom of my heart I’m sorry, sorry for all the trouble that I've caused, sorry for the bad things that I've done and above all, sorry for disappointing you, for it was never my intention and neither was typing this apology paragraph for you, but I couldn't but apologize for you truly deserve it.

The Community: I know that I probably let a lot of people down, but I can’t possibly name everyone for 2 reasons, too many (probably) and not sure who was affected by what happened. So, aside from the names stated above, I’m going to make a general apology that goes to everyone that feels tha concerned or has lost trust in me.
If you are still wondering the specific reason for getting demoted from Admin to Mod, at this point of the thread, was because of “Abuse of power and breach of trust”. I know I shouldn’t have done what I did and I know that I can’t give any excuses, so I’ll just hop to the point. I’m terribly sorry for abusing my powers and letting everyone down, I know that the powers that were given to me were to help the server and not for my personal use, I applied to help players and only 3 months later, ended up doing the opposite. I would like to apologize to you (the reader), for any harm that I did towards you and if I didn’t do any to you, I promise, I’ll try my best in the future to not do any harm to begin with. For it’s like what I’ve heard many say:”Everyone deserves a second chance”. I’m not
planning on getting a third chance, because I’m sure I won’t one anyway.



I would like to thank the Lead Team for giving me another chance in order to proof that I can be trusted again.
I would also like to thank Tigzter, Dcx and Chris, for giving me advises on how to make this thread. Another big thanks to the Lead Team, for they are doing their jobs correctly. I truly appreciate what you guys have done for ZARP and me.

It is really nice view to see such dedicated apologies. But when I think that YOU could actually abuse then ...

Hope your second chance is not going to be wasted, you need to be careful with your powers.

Everyone has their bad days, dude.

I remember once when I was admin, I slayed ~6 people accidently. You did the best thing you could by owning up and apologising. That's probably what got you your second chance. I like you, I really hope you can get over this and perform your duties to the utmost of your capabilities from here on out.

This is a quite good apology thread you have here, you've given it time as I can see by just looking at it. You've also explained, apologised and thanked the lead members along with others that are concerned in this matter. I'm sure you won't waste your second chance as I have complete faith in you!
