TOPIC: Goodbye Twitch, Hello Hitbox!

Hi guys! Sadly Twitch has introduced some new awful features to it, E.G: Your stream now gets muted if Twitch detects unauthorized sound and music (this includes in-game sounds). This has forced me to quit my channel at Twitch and move over to "Hitbox", This website allows all in-game sound and music.

The reason I quit Twitch was because of the stupid choices made my Elizabeth "boo" Baker (this is Twitch's general counsel)
and the rest of the team at Twitch as I normally play A LOT of my music on stream and I don't see how you can watch a stream without game sound and no captions. Another thing is there is a chance Youtube will be buying Twitch for 1$billion which will make things worse as you can already live stream to Youtube with a partnership.

My decision on moving to Hitbox was made as I heard they go easy with the partnership and copyright issues, a few of my friends have also made this choice and we have all made the move. I will miss Twitch for the features it had to Hitbox, the changes aren't huge but are different as the features will have changed.

Hopefully my channel will grow just as fast on Hitbox as it did on Twitch, so far it is looking promising. My streams will mostly consist of League of Legends but other games will be played!

Heard someone talk about this "update" on twitch, sounds horrible tbh.

I was also thinking that this would cause an impact on our ZARP vs. FP streams or any streams for that matter. I understand they aren't a regular thing but, you know it might want to be looked into!

I read this at Machinima, hate it, it's basically like the time Google bought Youtube and everyone posted Bobs.... Good times.

or just take a few weeks off streaming and let the internet do what it does best when shitty change happens.
I 80% sure this will be reverted since twitch is for gaming and their active streamers will stop.

Not really? Google took over google, correct. but google didn't start with gaming... Twitch are gaming thing, made for people to game.
