someone decided to bring the whole botnet down upon us

Technicians at the datacenter are looking into the issue, we expect to see improvement very soon, and if this isn't the case we will update you VIA forum announcements.

i thought we had ddos protection

having a physical firewall to the server would cost ALOT, so i doubt anyone would put a firewall for a gmod server

where is all the donation money going then?

We have invested in some of the best DDoS protection. The donation money goes towards each monthly renewal of the server.

We are currently unaware of the problem despite what some have said, IE: It might not actually be a DDoS, perhaps some other networking issue.

Regardless, investigation is taking place and we'll keep you informed.

I myself am not aware of the exact specification of our DDoS protection, although from what I've heard - it's pretty beefy.
