TOPIC: Cannot connect to server.

I am having issues connecting to the darkrp server. When I attempt to join it gets stuck at "Retrieving server info" and I eventually time out. I had no problems getting on yesterday, and my gmod has not changed since then. Can anybody help me?

The server is atm having internet issues i belive. i am online right now, but i am not able to move around properly. It's not just you.

Ok well I was not sure if this was an issue with me or the server. A friend of mine had this problem a few weeks ago, so I was not sure.

People are saying that someone spammed gangster pistols, which caused this.

I don't think it's the gangster pistols. I saw them with my own eyes, and there was no problem. And then after like 20 minutes or so, the server went down.
