I went in, micspammed and called someone a negro for less than 30 seconds. I recieved a ban of 3 weeks and 2 days.

So what you are basically saying is: "I GOT BANNED FOR BREAKING SEVERAL RULES, YOU ARE THE WORST ADMINS EVER"

1. You broke rules
2. We got a solid staff that DO their JOB

To make it simple:
You act too fast
Too strict
Too robo-like..

Imagine if I actually were a new player, who didnt understand the rules and were looking for a good server to play on.
You basically insta-banned me. In less than 30 seconds, I got banned for 3 weeks without a single warning. My name was in undercover, you've never seen me. For you, I was a new player who mic spammed. For you, you just banned a new garrys-mod player without explanation.

This is not a ban appeal. Just trying to get you guys fired, for the gigs of it

I agree they are REALLY strict and uninviting of new players. There's no point in having a warn system when you've got these admins, the reason the playerbase is dropping is because they're all banned.

You were banned for breaking rules, when you joined the server there was a button saying: "I have read and agree to the rules"
If you click this button without doing as it says then you are very prone to getting banned.
When I was admin at DarkRP I would ban someone for 15 minutes if the broke NLR. It varied. I remember one person saying to me "Fine then, just warn me and let me go." I said "Not that easy" and banned him for 2 days or something like that. The fact that he said "warn me" was so significant that I stopped warning and just kicked or banned, the warns really don't mean anything.
Don't break the rules and you won't be banned.

The rules are:

• Documented on our forum.
• There when you join.
• Forcing you to agree with them when you join.

That button which says "I have read and agree to the rules" isn't just there for the hell of it. It's not really effective, as proven - but at least it can be said that when they broke the rules, they had to specifically agree to them first - regardless of if they took notice or not.

That should be the one, and only chance they get. ZARP administers differently to other communities, and that's something you have to deal with, no two communities will operate 100% the same: we're tougher and focus on justice through appeals. More of a "guilty until proven innocent" rather than "innocent until proven guilty" - although I'm by no means saying we go and ban people without proof nor reason.

Edit: The following is my personal opinion of TNG. I am not speaking on behalf of ZARP or anyone inside, but I would feel that most would agree in saying this.

If a community owner is that desperate and immature that they cause trouble and drama before leaving to their own community, and ultimately copy ZARP's rules and templates (Yup. ZART's old post is archived, but we can restore it if you so desire, look at their rules - hmm, notice any resemblance?)

Heck, just because they've got a few thousand subs which they scrounge a few players through - doesn't mean to say that they're immediate specialists in running communities. I'll say again, if they can't be bothered to take the time to write their own rules - what makes you think that they will dedicate to their community, regardless of if you see their ban system more appeasing to you?

It's understandable that you got banned. You should read the rules before ever playing on a server. I don't get why most people don't do this and then complain about being banned/muted/kicked.
