Answer is: 1 B)

ok lad , now solve this one please :)

f(x)=2x² + 5x + 90

2 is incorrect
prove it buddy

You are meant to answer with something resembling a function, not a constant
i asked for proof

Here's the basis on how to solve it:

Let the starting number of sheep be 7. (It's an even number so subtract by 2), therefore he harvests until he has 5 (odd so subtract 1), then 4, then 2, 1 and 0.

So let y = 7 when X = 1, and y = 5 when x = 2, we can therefore derive a graph based on this pattern until y hits 0 as our criteria. Now find a relevant asymptote between the range of 7 to 0 that justify this pattern.

With this done you can draw a much bigger asymptote, 1 for negative numbers and 1 for positive numbers B)

Supposing the contra positive of the inverse and thy you shall get back the supposition identical as you brought it :pinch:

Assume a sane person does math in their free time instead. Now is there a reason potentially? Maybe he has a gun to his head and therefore his life is on the line. Are you insane for wanting to live, even if that means doing math whilst not being in school?

We now have a case against the initial statement: "No sane person does math in their free time" by simply producing a counter-example. If we could find one with minimal effort there likely exists more "sane" reasons as to why someone would do math on their free time. :woohoo:
