Solve the math question 1 year 6 months ago #1394509

Given a number of sheep in a yard, the shepherd once every while comes to harvest their meat. If you have an even number of sheep then the shepherd will harvest 2 sheep and if you have an uneven number of sheep the shepherd will harvest 1 sheep. If the shepherd owes sheep to his neighbor it's the same but is represented with a negative sign in front.

Define an asymptote by which the number of sheep in a farm is designated to extinction.

In front of the number of sheep he owes (Can be seen as X). The overall function of the shepherd owning or being in debt of sheep does not matter except on the graph by which the line on the Y-axis spans from a negative value instead of positive.

It is unknown. You are supposed to plot an asymptote to represent the function on self explanatory points. On X1 = 5 and X2 = 10 then the asymptote in between might be (2x²)/3 for instance. Plotting the whole graph instead is acceptable, but will be looked down upon.
