Meh, I don't buy into that, nobody would have gave a shit if he wasn't who he is, one defamation trial isn't going to change the edge women have over men in court.

I agree, however i would say that the fact that he is such a well known figure gives other men the inclination to speak up. You are right though, one defamation trial wont do much, we need more men to speak up about their experience. Male domestic abuse is severely overlooked in the present and this trial will do nothing but change that. (Hopefully)
