I'm actually quite interested in seeing this, myself. I still need to see Multiverse of Madness, but this is also on my radar. I've missed a few movies so far, so that's a pain, but I'll try and get to the cinema at some point to see it.
I've heard lots about how good it is. The only bad review I heard was from a person in a group chat of mine, who was saying she was bored and felt like it went on too long. But then again, she doesn't really watch many films with fantasy elements. The most curious thing, you'd think fantasy would be intriguing to everyone because it's new, fanciful, exciting, etc. But the reality is that some people who don't like fantasy tend to get bored of it really quickly, for exactly that reason - because it's new and different. They don't relate, so they don't get it.
Anyway, went on a bit of a tangent, there. I'd be happy to go and see it soon. I'll give my thoughts soon.
I think you'll really appreciate it, I genuinely don't see how people can be bored by this film, there's so much to it and it's executed perfectly, it's hard to explain the film, but it's actually funny, super emotional, action-packed, tackles a lot of real life issues and also it's silly, yet serious but whilst doing all of this, it's super easy to follow along.
Most of all what I think is really refreshing is how Michelle Yeoh plays the lead role, she is one of the best in the film and its not shoved into your face that she's a woman, like many other films do with female leads which is extremely disappointing, she's just absolutely bad-ass and there's no political meaning behind it, couldn't have picked a better female lead for the film imo
