I'm seeing many bigoted comments down there so I just want to make this clear : any hate towards moderators will result in a permanent ban from this subreddit with no warning. This includes, but is not limited to, calling moderation a "fake job" or saying that we "do it for free". Moderation is one of the most useful jobs to society.

Behave. Or get banned.

I've never seen a job that just requires you to be older than 13 and to answer a few questions which you can Google the answer to, or just view previous successful candidates to copy from.

Every staff application is just like writing a small bio or answering some questions, not like a CV.

Well believe it or not, it actually looks really good for you and your CV but because you were only an admin there is literally no point because anyone can get literally anyone can get admin here. I mentioned my experiences as community manager and this genuinely caused some form of interest with my employer, resulting in me getting the job I have today.

not cringe at all, your hobby resulted in you getting a job on programming which is really good and plenty ahead to learn, i get that’s it’s gmod but the point still stands

I did use me being head admin to get me a managers position ngl they loved the part when i told them i used to spend 8 hours in a virtual meeting discussing 12 year olds applying be internet police officers
