TOPIC: My OPINION

First of all. That is my OPINION. It would be great if the post is not deleted or locked. Don't be surprised I used DeepL because my English is absolute shit.

I think it's great how a German SSRP server is constantly as good as full. And why? Because they don't add stuff (which nobody wanted anyway) like ZARP. They take care to keep players interested and make it attractive for new players. There, new players have a chance to defend themselves against people who have been playing on the server for years. I mean how am I supposed to defend myself as a new player with an MP against a player with upgrades and any super weapons. This server here has been around for years. And always has a lot of players. At least they still have the basic structure of SSRP. In my opinion, Zarp is not SSRP, but should rather be its own gamemode.

Drastic changes have to be made NOW. I mean how long do we have to wait for a new update now? Until Easter? Or already summer? I know updates don't just happen and take time, but you need to get together NOW and plan how to revive ZARP. I know you don't like to hear it, but SSRP is as good as dead. And I knew this time would come 2 years ago. You come up with a limit for gangs that has received a lot of criticism so far and you are still convinced that it is necessary. Soon it will no longer be necessary because there are no more players.

The Christmas update was unfortunately (in my opinion) a failure. If I compare this with previous updates, you have clearly lost ground. For example, where was the advent calendar? I came to the server to give you another chance, but I left after 10 minutes because it's just too boring. The F4 menu alone is a pain in the ass. You just keep adding more and more buttons. I personally find it too much. It was long overdue to completely overhaul the F4 menu alone. And honestly, what should I do as an old player on the server? Everyone has loads of money and can buy all kinds of rubbish straight away.

You have to concentrate on getting old players back on the server. I mean how should a new Garrys Mod player now know that ZARP exists. Personally, I would open the DarkRP page and take the server that is at the top and has a lot of players. Why would I scroll all the way down and go to a server that only has 5 players. The player would immediately think "What should I do there, there's hardly anyone there anyway". Just look at the Gametracker. The numbers rose to 30 players on exactly one day. And after that? It immediately went back to the level before the update. Do you really think the numbers will explode until the next update? If the next update isn't a hit, that's exactly what will happen again. And that doesn't only apply to SSRP. Look at the other servers... It's a shame to see it like this, because I used to really like playing on your servers. So do something before it gets too late.

Confidence in a community is what gets people to stick around. Confidence is why people store their wealth in Switzerland, because Switzerland has a reputation for not ruining their own customers (Google Swiss banking). People have confidence that Rolex won't hyper inflate its own brand which is why China can't replicate one with 99.999% accuracy and sell it for even half the price of a real Rolex . Few have confidence that Chute will strive to make Zarp what it could be. Even fewer people have faith in Xnator that impulsively does things without asking & making the whole player base doubt the server.
