Congrats man. Cats are really great pets if you train then properly and give them attention. That way they'll be the more affectionate cats rather than the more adventurous cats that usually leave all day. I love cats but unfortunately my mom doesn't at all so I won't be able to get one myself until I move out :/. Make sure to update us on the name! I will deffo update this if there is a name and dont worry i have a bachelor degree in animal care/science and animal behaviour (mainly house pets) so taking care of it is pretty easy. I hope you will be able to get a cat once you move out man.
