Did Patrick get paid for the maps he did or did he do it for free? or any other map maker.

Nobody gets paid currently (but members of the Community Team do get a good old holiday bonus!) - Patrick was offered payments for his map but he turned down the offer.

more of a community question than directed to you but are you aware of how inconsistent the player count is for SSRP and that the spikes of players are often because they are alt accounts (unless update)? what are your plans to draw back not only older players but make the server more new player friendly so they can easily fit into the game? They don't. Just because some people are more vocal because I don't allow them to be incredibly discriminatory doesn't mean everyone. Like Haytham said, you don't speak for the whole community, and please don't come onto my Q&A thread trying to start drama!

Like I've said on a previous question on this thread, we have big plans for this, some (but by no means all) of which will be announced in the coming week(s) and should largely be implemented in the Easter update, but I can't disclose the specifics of this just yet.
