I remember when fully destructible environments were an extremely huge deal; they still kind of are, especially considering how the *biggest* draw of Crackdown 3 was supposed to be the fact that the environments were fully destructible. Not the story, not any other mechanic - no, the biggest attention was being put on fully destructible environments.

I think it's one of those things that's still difficult to really do, and there's always a limit somewhere. But this looks promising.

Aye Red Faction: Guerrilla blew my socks of as a kid in 2009 and had better destruction than crackdown 3

I was thinking of that; I completely forgot the name. Three games, and all of them an improvement upon the Crackdown 3 formula... Even having come out before Crackdown 3. It's funny when you think about how that same company made Saints Row. Also, Minecraft appears to be a strangely viable version of destructible environments...
