TOPIC: What is the most obscure game you've ever played?

As the title says; what's a game that's not commonly known to this day that you've played? I know there are a shit tonne of indie games you could say that don't really get a lot of traction, and I'm open to those answers - but I'd prefer anything made by a company that you would expect more press about.

For example, the game Gregory Horror Show in 2003 was actually published, and developed by Capcom, but there are still very few actual big youtubers who have covered the game, and not that many let's plays in general online. I would've suggested God Hand, but that got a lot of traction recently as a result of a couple of bigger youtubers bringing it into the spotlight.

In Gregory Horror Show, you play as a male, or female silent protagonist who essentially has to find their way out of a hotel filled with fairly demented characters; and some may run away at the sight of you, or chase you the second they see you - depends on if you've stolen the soul from them that's necessary to escape. It's actually quite fun, though definitely teaches some awkward lessons about stalking...

Probably any of the King's bounty games. Used to play them with a childhood friend who is now deceased so every time I see those games in my library I get a dose of nostalgia. They were made by some Russian company and are very badly translated to English but still fun non the less

This is a tough one indeed, Watson.

I had to dive deep into my Steam library in order to pluck one of the many games I played. Everyone knows of Half-Life, that's no doubt, but what I do highly doubt is that people know of the Half-Life games that came in between the main ones - A game such as "Half-Life: Opposing Force".

The game was released, IIRC, in late 1999, just a few months before I was even born. Of course, the game is developed by the prominent gaming industry, Valve. It's fair to say that the game has become obsolete and desolate, which is normal for a game 21 years old, but when I first played it back in 2005 I was addicted to it - It was an incredible experience for me - Sure, the game wasn't top-notch because of Half-Life 2's preceding appearance in late 2004 but that doesn't change the fact that I had an amazing time playing the game. Of course, I was very young and wasn't fully aware of what other games existed or were in development so, at that time, anything could have amazed me with ease to be quite frank.

Now, I'm assuming people here don't know of the game because everyone who I talked to so far had no idea that Half-Life consisted of anything more than the main games and the episodes that came along with them. So yeah, that would be the most obscure game I ever played... Everything else is Battlefield, COD, GTA, all well-known game franchises, both now and even then.

Carmageddon, I think it would've been better if I didn't play that game as a child. But hey, I turned out just fine.

I didn't really enjoying racing games, but getting points for destroying cars and running over people was pretty damn fun, as bad as that sounds.
