it's simple well-worded feedback. the only logical conclusion is that they're intentionally trying to get those with criticisms to get so frustrated that they leave. i genuinely can't think of a reason why they might be doing this 'constructively'... it really leaves me speechless.

It's not ridiculous at all given the recent drama, doxing and other issues that people have been resorting to on the forums. We have rules for a reason to protect our staff and our users and we do need to enforce them properly otherwise we'll end up in a very very bad state indeed. The best idea is to come directly to the relevant staff member if you have an issue and have a discussion with them as 9 times out of 10 this resolves the issue.
