TOPIC: Need help with some Maths

Yo guys, so basically I do this program called the International Baccalaureate (IB) which is similar to the A levels, but we gotta hand in some Internal assignments. I am struggling a bit on the maths IA, so if anyone good with maths could help me, I would really appreciate it! The maths IA is a 6-12 page (could be longer) exploration of taking some real-life concept and using mathematics commensurate to my course to write like an essay. Obviously, if the maths is too simple (such as correlation or statistics shit) then I cannot really get a good grade for it. My current idea is to model an infectious disease (such as SARS, or coronavirus) with the SIR model, or some other way.
