I have a mission trip booked for the end of may to the country of Niger Africa I need a second opinion on whether or not I should cancel it

I don't recommend to travel for at least 3+ months for obvious reasons...

Travelling internationally is a big risk and I'd probably wait at least September/October to see how things are going with COVID before making any plans.

You could go but I recommend cancelling it, and waiting for Covid to settle down.

If you actually have plans wait for things to calm down before travelling, if you don't have plans and just think it is "cool" to act stupid then don't post on these forums.
