A new game has come out, pretty similar to Gmod but with better graphics. Its name is "Mod and play" if you want to try it out, its on a 40% discount. At the moment it only has sandbox, but I guess that there will be many more gamemodes. Maybe some of you have seen it with the name of Unreal Sandbox but it got a copyright strike, but now it is back! We already have something like this its called "Neopenis" its the successor to the critically acclaimed game "Lemon Party"

Some of us asked him about the game when he was making it a few months back and the assets stolen from gmod and he cried about it, said that yeah he just copied the gmod UI and then cried when he got DMCA'd by Unreal as well.

Also, current verdict from gmodstore content creators who have been looking at the game: "I hope it was a mistake that he released this year and not next year"

Nah there have been **DISCUSSIONS** between him and some Creators over private Discord chats.

Lots of people making "gmod clones" recently, but none by any components developers / companies - the last one which came out a few months ago was deleted from Steam because everything on the "server" was done clientside, and it created several exploits to easily crash all their servers and they didn't want to fix it. Mod&Play seems even worse than that one so far.

Thank you for responding Xnator this does seem like a pretty bad issue. I'd like to see garry make a source 2 port but in my opinion gmod would not be fun unless its on source and really don't think the game has reached its limits with the engine if im wrong on this though enlighten me
