If you're purely going for productivity, the surface laptop ain't a bad choice, especially considering the 256GB storage option is slightly cheaper than the Blade Stealth's price tag.
You do get an 10th i7 with the Blade Stealth though which would do some more heavy lifting than the surface laptop's 10th gen i5 at that same price range. I personally own a surface laptop 3 for working from home and it's an awesome productivity machine so maybe I'm a little biased.
Only problem I have with it is: it uses a proprietary charging system, so if you break or lose the powerbrick you've got to fork out like 100GBP for a new one from Microsoft. Pretty sure you can charge via USB-C on the Blade Stealth so you don't have to shill out extra cash for accessories
Thanks for the response. I think i'm leaning slightly towards the Blade Stealth, purely because of the slightly better performance. I imagine it'll last me longer and thus be a better investment. I've got a while to decide, so my opinion might change.
