Depends what you mean by "like JoJo". Because if you want an anime that has angry spirits fighting each other controlled by a human host, that's probably Shaman King.

Alternatively, if you're looking for fighting anime with similar elements, you could try High School DxD (they use a system similar to chess where every character in a group is a piece and the leader of the group is the king, and they get special powers based on their position), Sekirei (kind of like pokemon except they're mostly girls with superpowers and shit), or Ikki Tousen (basically the main girl is possessed by some old, legendary fighter or something). I will warn that there is a lot of fan service in all of these anime. High School DxD is infamous for the fan service, actually.

Kenichi is another good fighting anime, but there's no angry spirit or JoJo like elements, just more emphasis on martial arts. Beelzebub is another one, that one's about the baby son of the devil being left with a troublemaker in a high school. He sorta gets power ups and stuff as he goes along with the baby bestowing power upon him.
