New Forums Theme - Feedback Needed! 4 years 3 months ago #1191850

Hello, I've decided to start working on a new Forums Theme. Below you can see some screenshots:

This project is work in progress and will be updated every once in a while. As of right now, there is no download to the theme - and there won't be one for a while.

Questions

Will there be a light version?

- Maybe. Though when this theme is finished, you can make one yourself

Other questions will be added to this thread as they come. Feel free to ask something in a reply to the thread.

Great work as always Rick.

The UI looks fantastic, and I'm confident that with a bit more time, it will look mesmerizing. Of course, this will surely look twice as nice when you develop the dark version. I'm really curious as to what you are going to do with the "Quick Menu", I have no requests nor suggestions but am rather keen to see what you will think of and code. Good luck enhancing the project man, you are doing good so far.

The Quick Menu will most likely remain on the left side - I'll see if I can make it work with no particular background elements added, but I'm not sure whether or not it'd look out of place so I'll see what I end up with. It's a bit hard to deduce what looks good when I haven't tested anything yet. I'll update the thread if I decide upon a specific look and you can leave any feedback you might have then!

I made some changes & additions: Changes: - Added a header. > Added a drop-down menu to the respective navItems. - Modified username & badge colors. - Modified Pages' color. - Added border radius (smooth borders). That actually looks sick, it's alot cleaner than the current one imo. Great work man!

I was recently hired by a company in order to help with some security and bug hunting stuff, so I'm afraid there is going to be some delay. I think it's going to be difficult for ChuteUK to implement this directly onto the website, but I'd be up to start working with him on actually getting it done.
