As title says above. I think I've done this before but fuck it.
Any you know enough to really get into a discussion about?
By the way, just to make it interesting: Let's say whoever gets the most thank yous on their post about whatever game or series they're most passionate about gets a free Hell Case idfk
I was never allowed to play the original God of War trilogy on PlayStation cause strict parents but getting to play the newest one after reading the storyline and studying Kratos' character development was a real enjoyment for me.
Even though we don't really have an end to Kratos' arc, it feels like we're coming to it happening. He is no longer the young Spartan who has a bloodlust for any and all gods but rather, a more reserved, strategic veteran; he only fights when he has to for worry of endangering his son Atreus.
Despite Kratos' demeanor which, at times, feels like the direct opposite of Atreus', there are many tender moments where you see and experience a genuine father-son relationship which you'd think would be impossible with a guy like Kratos.
Kratos has been through a lot and has become wise to many of life's difficult situations, dropping quotes such as: "keep your expectations low, and you'll never be disappointed" and "the cycle ends here, we must be better than this". Despite not playing the original trilogy, I felt that Kratos is an extremely relate-able character who is still getting great character development even after three games
Special shout out to this scene in the game:
Warning: Spoiler![ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ]
For context, Kratos and Atreus are on the 'Giant's Fingers', nearing the end of their journey to spread Atreus' mother's ashes. At this point in the game, Kratos has retrieved his once favored weapon - the Blades of Chaos - after swearing to never use them again in order to 'put an end to' the person he once was (Atreus does not know of Kratos' history for most of the game).
In this scene, Kratos removes the bandages covering the scars the Blades of Chaos left on his forearms. This is a really well written, directed and acted moment in the game to portray Kratos accepting his past as part of him, rather than trying to hide it
I'll check my inventory, but I'll give Uzi a special case just for writing such an in-depth description of his (or one of his) favourite series/games. Thanks for sharing, dingus.
I love many games, not without a reason I own 583 games on Steam. I need to say, that recently game called Foxhole bought my heart. It is unique experience for every player applying to shooter/strategy genre. I recommend trying it out!
What is so unique about this game?
It's not easy. I love games where victory costs a lot of nerves and sweat. This title especially allows players to chose one of two sides: Wardens and Colonials. Now the best part - battles are taking place 24/7 on one big global map. You can help protect borders in one region, try to punch a hole into enemies position in other or stay back and gather supplies and deliver them to front. There are also technologies that each team unlocks every day. Battles might last for few days and entire wars - even for months.
I never would expect to enjoy isometric, third person shooter this much.
Gotta say counter strike 1.6 i used to play back when i was a kid i remember going back from school so excited to play with new friends i met online it was my first ever experience with gaming and finding online friends i remember getting so excited just to open up the game and join some servers i used to play on, on the other side minecraft was also a part of it used to go home from school everday play with friends from school and just relax and have a good time.. god i miss those days but hey atleast it happened instead of never
If you have any sort of willingness to play Mario Kart Wii and you can somehow find a Wii and a copy of the game the modding community is still very much alive and there's hundreds of community made tracks and mod packs on it, and you can still play online, it only takes about 15 minutes to set up all the custom stuff, very farfetched though.
On pc as I said last time Overwatch is a really good game that I'm sure you're aware of, combines a few elements of other shooters and then adds a fuck ton of retarded shit to it and it's really fun

or fallout 1, 2 and nv. nv has lore that's so well written, i'd actually be willing to read a whole fkn book based soley on why letting the powder gangers take over goodsprings is actually the right path to go along, as powder gangers condone safe drug use.
