TOPIC: My thoughts on 'Logic'

With Logic's latest album 'Confessions of a dangerous mind' he lets us listeners know that he is not here to mess around. With this new album he goes on explaining how he is one of the best rappers at the moment, which I would have to be heavily inclined to agree with. On Homicide featuring Eminem he sings so fast you can't even understand what he is saying which is really cool. And while I think that Eminem is a dumb fuck who can't tell the difference between an 'A' and a 'U', I still think this song is very good.

And while some people may point out the fact that Logic said the N - Word on this album I would like to let it be known this was done on purpose, he is attempting to convey his past struggles and hardships over his race and how looking white while having a black dad has affected him throughout his youth.

On Royce the 5's song 'Caterpillar' Logic has a few things to say about his race and identity. What it was like to be a white rapper.

"What's it like to be a white rapper, Logic?"
Oh and I was just like, just never talked about it like
"Man, it's just so great being a white rapper
White, white, white, white everything
White man—being white's so great—wow it's so great"

In this verse he explains that being a white rapper like the aforementioned Emnanam that he doesn't like to be classified as white.

And I was like "Oh shit!"
And the whole world be like "What, are you scared to be black?
Are you ashamed to be black?! Motherfucker, fuck you!
Fuck you, you piece of shit, mixed, biracial, fucking cunt"

Cole said fuck all this black and white, it's time to unite
Be who you are, identify as a star

and then almost instantly (he raps so very fast which is very good) he explains how even though he is mixed people are trying to decide his race for him and how it doesn't have to be this way, in the words of Cole.

and to top it all off in this verse:
"Logic's such a hypocrite", you can take a hike, nah
Right now, I'm here to talk about suicide and depression
Anxiety, mental health and all that other shit
You scared to mention
Yeah, I could talk about the millions I've amassed
But now just ain't the time or place.

he explains how he is a good guy, talking about subjects that garbage artists like Jay Z and Kendick Lambardo wouldn't even dream of rapping about.

Logic truly is the greatest rapper of ALL TIME
